Há dois anos e quatro eleições, que Israel ainda tropeça para tentar uma forma de governo. O antigo primeiro-ministro Benjamin Netanyahu retornou o mandato, esta semana, porque tantos desertaram dele e ele não conseguiu formar um governo de direita. O mandato foi entregue a Yair Lapid, um político de esquerda, e também a Naftali Bennett, um político de direita, para tentar uma forma chamada governo de unidade, uma espécie de governo caleidoscópio, tarefa muito, muito difícil mesmo.
Se pensarmos nisso em termos dos Estados Unidos, é como tomar Donald Trump e Joe Biden juntos e eles teriam que formar algum tipo de coalizão para o gabinete. Isto é o que Israel terá pela frente nos próximos 28 dias: tentar formar um governo unitário.
Yair Lapid é muito forte à esquerda, e há dúvidas se ele tem habilidade para liderar Israel neste tempo – pelas dificuldades que se apresentam, o enfrentamento da pandemia COVID-19, desafios econômicos, a pressão da segurança, diplomacia … Como Donald Trump, você tem Naftali Bennet, puxando tudo para a direita.
Portanto, a dificuldade está pela frente. Acredito que o que faremos nesses próximos dias e semanas contados é, dentro deste tempo de jejum e orações, aproveitarmos essa tremenda oportunidade de nos unir a Deus e orar por Sua vontade em relação ao governo de Israel. Deus não faz pouco caso quando se trata da nação de Israel. Ele vai cumprir Suas promessas, vai fazer exatamente o que disse que faria. Ele não está entrando vagando no céu ou se procurando o que fazer.
Mas eu acredito que este é um momento em que conseguiremos impor uma vitória para o país, e por isso precisamos orar para que um governo de unidade seja formal, que o partido conservador seja capaz de manter os principais cargos ministeriais, tais como educação, segurança e finanças, que são importantes, com confiança para desbravar o caminho, agora que as finanças e o poder da República Islâmica do Irã, em termos internacionais vêm em um ataque violento contra Israel, reunindo uma equipe de forças políticas lideradas pelo presidente Joe Biden. Portanto, os desafios são enormes, e Israel está em uma situação precária, mas não precária demais para Deus. Estou tão feliz por estar nesta jornada com você! Vamos nos juntar com seriedade, orando pela formação do Governo de Israel.
